Hiking Camp

​

The Skillingaryd Camp, where military operations started during the 1680s, has been a Listed Structure since 1993. It is Sweden’s best preserved military exercise field and is in the excellent care of the Swedish Fortifications Agency. Miliseum organizes very popular hikes in this unique setting with excellent opportunities for learning about the history of the site as well as its current situation.  Hiking camps must be booked at Miliseum in advance.
